8 tracks recorded live, direct to disk, nothing pre-recorded or post overdubbed.  
Non instrument sounds were derived in real time from the instrument's acoustic 
sounds, by a computer/ software based system, creating an interactive audio 
component to the solo improvisation: actions/ reactions/ interactions.  
Software used, depending on the track, was either 
"derivations interactive performance system" (Ben Carey creator) 
or an Ableton based system (P. Mimlitsch programming).
